wow it sure is hot

Category: beauty is in the eye of the beholder | Posted: Thu Jun 21, 2012 11:06 am

been so hot here just don't get outside much till evening was looking for an old suitcase to make a bed for taffy that I had seen somewhere it is going to be pink and all frilly and fancy and anyway I ended up with 2 so what did my brain tell me to do ??? of course plant in one lol all the pkgs of seeds I had I mixed together and put in the suitcase and a 1/2 now we will see what happens lol I only needed a 1/2 of suitcase for the bed so that left me with extra flowerbed.this evening when it cools got to transplant my morning glories to my new umbrella planterother than the heat all my plants are thriving and got a min yellow rose on my 1/2 dead rose bush that came backhave been working on my princess of the flowers chair to plant in soit should be done today and so far am so pleased with it I have all kinds of bling bling on it lol will post pics when done have a great green thumb day all

morning glories oh yeah

Category: beauty is in the eye of the beholder | Posted: Thu Jun 14, 2012 11:09 am

I planted 4 or 5 pots of various colors of morning glories last sat well they are up about 2 inches already so saw a cute idea to do with them I put a piece of rebar in the ground and slid a piece of pipe over it and stripped an old umbrella and put it in the top of the pole now will run hemp twine from the arms of the umbrella and will anchor them in the morning glories to climb when full what a beautiful array of colors to make a nature umbrella can't wait to see how it does will take pics as it progresses took alot of pics yesterday of all the plants I have gotten and brought back to life

crotons for .25 for 2 pots full ( photo / image / picture from donna in nc's Garden )
