This plant ranges from a bushy plant to woody vine. It can grow anywhere. It leaves deposits of irritating resin on anything it contacts. Do not burn as the smoke carries the allergen.

northeast U.S.: I do leave some of this in the wilder part of my "garden". Not popular with people, but this plant does have important wildlife value. I've read deer, rodents and other small mammals browse leaves and twigs along with the berries. The berries are important to migrating birds in the fall - and more so during the winter months when foods are in short supply. Birds are partly responsible for this plant being considered aggressive, as they do a lot of the "planting".

Rating for this plant:
Just kidding, you don't want these things in a hanging basket, or anywhere near the garden, they are terribly invasive, and can cause severe reactions.
