A variety that occured at Moorland Cottage Plants and appears to be hybrid between Lucifer and Paniculata as it shows characteristics in common with both. The flowers are larger than Lucifer and like Lucifer that face upwards. The colour is similar to Paniculata but with more Pink and Red in the flower.

Known Sometimes in trade as a dwarf Orange and Yellow flowered Masoniorum hybrid, but should be a Red x Crocosmia hybrid. Both names are allowed to stand as they are based on different species.

This fabulous new, sterile, dwarf Crocosmia comes from the UK breeding program of David Tristram. This little gem is one of the best Crocosmia that I have grown. Stems that rise just above the soft green sword-like leaves are topped, starting in July and continuing until September, with brilliant red-orange (RHS 41A) outfacing flowers.
