If in Zones other then the ones listed: Place in high light (southern exposure) during fall and winter, and medium light in spring and summer. Prefers morning sun. Needs high light for good flowering.

Keep soil evenly moist. Mist leaves with tepid water; never mist flowers, it will cause them to rot. Raise humidity as high as possible

This is a VERY tropical plant, must maintain temperatures in the 80s for best growth. Tolerates temperatures of 70s during the day and 60s at night.

Slow growing but very pretty plant. Doesn't like being grown in a pot.

These very decorative bulbs come from South Africa. We use them as out-in-plants since they won't take much frost. They bloom for us between July and September, depending on when they were planted.

A very stately perennial for late autumn blooming. The tall bloom spires attract bees and butterflies. The foliage will colour out best in full sun. Lovely as a solitaire or as a dark backdrop for earlier perennials.
