Obedient plants can be bent, and arranged in a vase, and stay in the manner that you bend them. They are invasive . . . but I really don't mind, as they are so beautiful. I would plant the seeds where the plants have plenty of room to multiply.

My begonia likes to be in a small pot, and loves the morning sun!

A small, autumn flowering Colchicum. This is the first Colchicum to bloom in my garden. The foliage comes up in spring. It's very big and juicy green, and dies down in July.

A very dark rose with good scent and funny, mossy growth around the flower buds. Will bloom only once per season. Needs pruning after blooming since it blooms on old wood.

The way that I determine if my jade plants need water is to gently squeeze one of it's "leaves" . . . if it is soft instead of firm then I water moderately.

This is an easy plant to grow and requires little care. It tolerates more heat and cold than commonly thought and the key to survival summer and winter is loose, well-draining soil.

Droopy (10087) wrote the following about Actinidia kolomikta on Aug 21 2008

This lovely bush is grown for it's foliage. The leaves are green in the middle, then pink and red, and often with a white edge.

The new foliage is green with a lovely reddish-brown edge and veins. The old foliage stays on during winter, but looks ragged in spring. Cut it back for better foliage show in spring.

Droopy (10087) wrote the following about Primula auricula 'Susannah' on Aug 21 2008

The bloom colour is difficult to describe. The double blooms looks like an old-fashioned rose. A very pretty addition to the spring flowering garden.

A very early, lovely little Iris. The pale blue flag and yellow lip with blue stripes makes it a wonderful feature for the spring garden.
