Write your opinion of this plant here...El Desperado is a very good daylily. It is a heavy bloomer.I love it.It is a late blooming daylily. It is mustard yellow with a wine purple eye zone. Quite showy!

Write your opinion of this plant here...Chicago Apache is an older daylily that has been quite popular.I will keep it in my garden for it's later bloom time.It is still listed for sale in many catalogs.I would recommend it for anyone starting a collection who wants a later red that won't cost an arm

With patience and lots of watering and feeding you will be rewarded with delicious little fruits that come in their own little bags.

May be grown outside in warmer climes but need a greenhouse in the UK to succeed.

Really nice silver leaf with narrow outlined edge. Flower is not red but a violet lavender. Doing well in my shade garden and wasn't bothered by slugs.

More Hardy than the tag indicated. It suffered in our heat last summer but has come back good and strong here in zone 8a this spring.

This is one of my favorite of my numerous Hostas. I love the color combination. Seems to do well in heat, and isn't chewed on by slugs or other pests.

For me a hardy little trooper. I bought four on sale and all were the same pale yellow with blue green edges. Moved two to areas with varying amounts of sunlight and you wouldn't think they are the same plant with the wide variations of color. More sun, brighter yellow and more noticeable variegation.

Over time this has proven to be a rather unstable variety. Color and leaf shape has not been consistent the three years I have had it. Love the soft bicolors.

Appears very vigorous in growth habit, but a big slug can prune a leaf off.

I find this plant very vigorous and along with 'Blue Vision' the most slug resistant of my hostas

Cheerful flower, nice in bouquets. Not so good as a border plant; best if left to naturalize at the edge of your garden. Spreads around, but not invasive.
