Colorful exotic vine is perfect on tellises, arbors, fences or anywhere a splash of color is needed.
Water regularly until established.
Feed plants in early spring and again in early fall with an all-purpose fertilizer.

This plant only grows off of the surface roots of the American Beech tree (Fagus americana). It is a normal parasite of the tree and attains nutrients from the roots of the tree.

I have had this plant for 15 years or so although it wasn't that old in this pic. I let grow where ever it wants to until it dies down. Maybe one day I will take it out of it's pot and really let it go wild in the greenhouse.

Extremely easy to grow. Likes shady diffused lighting, however mine receives direct morning sunlight, shade rest of day.
