This native of Peru this plant does well in hanging baskets or as a ground cover. Its dark red veins on oval leaves will grow 6 to 8 inches. A warm humid environment is needed for good growth.

This lacy plant features soft green leaves as did of the leaves of it's ancestors from the carboniferous period 300 to 350 million years ago. A period before flowers and reproduction was accomplished by spores.
