Of the sedum spuriums this is my favorite so far. It does well as a container plant covering the soil. It is consistently more plush in appearance than most sedum spuriums in my yard/containers. Does best in a fertile, moist, well-drained planting medium.

The flowers seem to prefer to come off the ends of the plants and are prolific. Am thinking it might make a nice easy care sedum/semp hanging basket plant.

Slow growing tree/herb. Makes a good container plant. Leaf, and flowers can be used for cooking. Leaf is very fragrant.

For the first 2 winters in my zone 5a garden, this shrub died back to the ground and re grew each spring.

Pretty, airy foliage with orange blooms in summer. Does well in heat, and dry sunny areas.

Jewell (5504) wrote the following about Sedum sieboldii on Jun 18 2010

Am unsure of the hardiness of this plant. Different "authorities" give a very wide range of hardiness zones(Zones 3-9, 6-8, 4-9).
