Possibly a hybrid of Echeveria Lilacina. Forms a rosette with a "rosebud" shape. Porous soil with adequate drainage. Protect from frost. Provide bright light. Hardy to 36F. Grows to 3 inches. Water thoroughly when soil is dry.

Hellebores will self seed but it twill take 3 years to establish and bloom. Flowers of these seedlings may not resemble parent plant. In general they do not like to be transplanted. I have transplanted young plants 1-2 years old with good success as long as you dig a large rootball and keep it well watered until it becomes established.

Nice, easy to grow houseplant. Wil wilt when it needs water, which is frequent!

This is another ground cover I like to grow in the woodlands gardens. It has such unusual foliage. In the shade, it doesn't spread so much. The flowers are insignificant.

I love the wonderful yellow flowers in early spring. Leopard's bane will go dormant by summer in my zone 5 garden, and is also, unfortunately short-lived.

This is one of my favorite flowers to use in flower arranging. I did try to grow a variety that said it would grown in Zone 7...it did not survive the winter.
