Good Monday morning all. Currently 18°C and overcast. We had a bit of rain overnight, but not enough to give all my plants a good soaking. I made pickles for the first time yesterday, I hope they turn out OK. Today I hope to get all the plants on my plant shelf planted. Have a great day all :)

Happy Sunday afternoon. Got the mowing finished this morning and have just been kicking back. Going over to get Mrs E's house to get her list of plants for the sale so I can get their info tags made

Good Monday morning all. Currently 16°C and foggy. Some rain yesterday helped with the garden watering, and I found most of the plants on my shelf a home. Still struggling with some shade plants ... my few shade gardens are full. I think I see a new garden in the works! Off to work have a great day all :)

Greetings on this Monday morning! Overcast today. Not much on the agenda for today. Just made a pan of cinnamon rolls and now the house smells nice and sweet. Off to go for a garden stroll.

Happy Monday morning and back to work. Temps from upper 70s to upper 90s and with the humidity our "feel like" temp today will be 107F. I'm so glad I have an "indoor" job! :D I just don't know how the people who work outdoors can take it day after day. Even yesterday it was just too hot to be outside after lunchtime.
And I'm sure the plants will be looking for some water this evening.

Good afternoon all. We had a wonderful relaxing weekend and I was not once haunted by thoughts of last year. So now when we get to October 20th that whole scary event will totally behind us.

Of course, spending several hours watching all the home type programs on cable, I have waaaaay too many ideas of things we could do here. I'm making a list and checking it twice, I'll shorten the list if hubby is nice....nah, I probably won't, want every thing on the list.

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently 16°C and clear. It is going to be a HOT one today! Days like this I am glad I am done work by 2:30 before the heat of the day really kicks in. Re-dug one of the horseshoe pits last night, hope to get the other one done tonight. I also planted a new apple tree! Off to work where I will try to work with the shade. Have a great day all :)

Happy Tuesday morning. Going to be another hot one here... surprised? :D Feel-like temp of 105F.
Slight chance for an afternoon shower... not holding my breath on that... although it would be nice if it showed up just to break the heat.

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently 19°C with a strong wind. The wind actually feels good and it is making it feel much more bearable. The humidity didn't really break up with the rain last night. Off to work I go, have a great day all :)

Happy Wednesday morning. Looks like it rained a little here at the office. Nothing at my house. Still hot and muggy with no relief in sight for the next several days.
The plants in the ground are hanging in there... but those darn containers are practically needing a drink every day. I couldn't get to them yesterday, so I'll definitely be watering when I get home.
I did a head count the other day, I have 82 plants in containers for the plant sale! Definitely looking forward to that sale so I can get rid of all those pots (and make money for the church of course). :-D

Hot and humid here today. Clothes will dry good though. May be turning on the a/c early. Have a good day and stay cool if you can.

Good Thursday morning all. Currently 11°C and clear. The weather really cooled off yesterday and I needed a sweater in the afternoon. It is a nice change. Off to work, where I am working solo for the next few days. Have a great day all :)

Happy Thursday morning. Had a little rain shower overnight, not enough to even measure, but it did make it seem a little cooler this morning. So, I'll continue giving everything a drink when I get home.

    Good morning all.
Cheryl your post is the first one on page 1000 of this topic!

Another one very close to or over 100 deg coming up and three more after that. No rain in sight, it all went straight down south to the east of us yesterday. I did get to see some lightening flashes and hear some thunder....just not the same as having actual rain fall on the garden though.
