Had the chance to take some quail images over the last two weeks, California Quail up here and Gaambels Quail in AZ.

Every time a see one of your male quail I smile. That feather facing forward on top of their heads looks as though it's attached to a stylish beret. If I were a female I'd want a mate like that!!
