We have 5 species of sparrows visit the garden, this is the biggest, the fox sparrow.

We have a rare one in the White Throated and then we have the Golden crowned, the White crowned and the common European Sparrow, I think Eileen sent them over. Oh, I forgot, we get the Song Sparrow quite often as well, so we get 6.

I'm missing a few of the sparrows, we also get the chipping sparrow, it nested in the garden last year, so we have seven.

We've had an influx of House Sparrows here this year. It's nice to see them back but, boy, can they eat!!

Your Fox Sparrow has markings not unlike our thrushes.
