Getting everything done
Category: Great weekend | Posted: Sat May 28, 2011 3:59 am I have finally been able to get out in my gardens. I have all my bulbs planted and many many seeds down. They are starting to come up now. Instead of keeping the pond with water, way too many problems, kids next door cracked the side of it, I have filled it in with dirt and am planting marigolds in it. I hope it looks as good as I am thinking it will. I have got some huge pumking seeds planted in the vegetable garden this year. I have decided to make the whole garden pumpkins and I am planting other things in my friends garden that is out at her pond. I bought some plants to spruce up my rock area and under a tree that does not get any sun. I will be taking pictures soon and posting on here. I can not wait until everything is in full bloom I believe it will look really pretty. So excited! This blog entry has been viewed 361 times
Ok took the weekend off
Category: Great weekend | Posted: Mon May 24, 2010 3:09 pm Well I did not manage to get much done this weekend. We just had a fun weekend. First we played all day Saturday and Sunday we spent the whole day out at the pond with the neighbors. And now I am sunburnt. However, since it is Monday it is back to working in the yard LOL. HOpefully I can find something to keep over my shoulders that is not too hot because I can not take any more sun on my shoulders LOL They hurt so bad right now. Just plain out fun
Category: Great weekend | Posted: Sun May 23, 2010 4:19 am I did not do much in the yard as for my gardens today. However, I did plant more cucumbers and lemon cucumbers. Other than that it was just a day to be outside with my son and our neighbors. We had a cook out, played on the trampoline, played in the water, played tetherball, and ended the night with a fire in the back yard. We were roasting marshmellows and had fun just laughing and talking to the neighbor people. However, tomorrow we are going to be working on the shed getting that ready for flowers to be planted and for a garage sale. Have a bunch of clothes to sort out and get ready. So tomorrow will be a busy busy busy day. I am ready to have my beautiful yard looking the way it should. Gorgeous! This blog entry has been viewed 312 times

Great weekend for working in the yard
Category: Great weekend | Posted: Mon May 17, 2010 3:45 pm This past weekend was so wonderful for working out in the yard. I accomplished so much and am so happy with the work that I have done. I weeded around the house and the flower beds, planted flowers next to the house and in the rest of my flower beds, also got the garden planted and set up a bench outside by the garden. I only have two more projects to get started and hopefully finished before the summer is over. We have a shed in our yard and they put rocks under it well I am trying to get all the rocks under the shed this way I have more areas to plant flowers and hopefully keep the rocks out of my yard. Then the back of the house in an area that gets no sun and is moist I want to put a walk way in there and some pretty ground covering to make it look presentable. Right now it is a pile of dirt and our old refridge. Need to get that out of there and find some pretty ground covering that can stand the shade.I am also putting a border at the end of it to keep the flowers in there and off of the side walk that goes right in front of it.
