A question....

Category: Questions.... | Posted: Tue Jun 01, 2010 4:04 am

Today my neighbor looked at my "mystery plant" that is now known to be a lily. I had mentioned that I planted a lily in that same garden bed last year however I pulled it out because it died not long after I planted it. The one I had put in there last year was a very pretty color of orange. I loved it. This year the new one popped up and it is white. Is there a chance that it planted itself there from the lily last year? My neighbor had told me that if I had an orange on there before it would have come back as an orange one if it planted itself there. I am so confused because there used to be a big ugly bush there and no plants. So if the lily would have been planted from the orange on why is the lily white???? I am so confused.

But other than that my gardening is going pretty good. Had to take down all my decorations because we got hit with a really bad thunderstorm today. And I have not been on here lately because it has been extremely warm and we been swimming at the pond. Also I had finals for school so was busy working on those when I was on the computer. We also had some stupid squirrels LOL!!! Two days last week a squirrel managed to take out the electricity in my neighborhood. It happened on Wednesday and Friday. It was crazy. They both got on the same transformer and blew up. Anyways I hope the rest of them are smart enough not to climb on that one, I am tired of waking up with out electricity. Plus with it being so humid here we have the aircondtioner on and when it gets shut off before I wake up, I wake up hot and stuffy. I am not really a morning person LOL. However, I need to go to bed because I have an appointment early in the morning tomorrow. YUCK! Hope to talk to you all again very soon!
