The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Oven.

Category: Dogs | Posted: Tue Jun 13, 2006 7:46 pm

It's official! We're scared.
Max noticed it first... we were hanging around the kitchen, as you do, hoping that someone might drop a piece of cheese or a dollop of scrambled egg , when suddenly he - at least we think it's a he - was there, IN THE OVEN. We kid you not. They've got another dog locked in the oven! Isn't there a law about that sort of thing? Obviously they're going to cook him, but when? And when he's gone... who's next?
He seems okay at the moment; he always wanders up and looks out at whichever of us is looking in. Sometimes he wags his tail, as if he's waving back at us. The strange thing is that Max is convinced that he is a dead ringer for himself, while Archie swears blind that he looks just like... Archie. Curious, indeed .

Sorry about the quality of the photograph but dad took this picture from his mobile. He must have been worried about us making contact with the Dog In The Oven and obviously became nervous and not a little shaky. Either that or he'd been on the Vino Collapso again.

And now, a word from our sponsor:

So off we go, with the sun on our backs

Come on, Arch' , keep up!

NEWSFLASH: TOMORROW - 14th OF JUNE - IS THE BIG DAY. WE CAN AT LAST GO OUT. WATCH OUT WORLD!!!

Oh boy you're both going to have such fun from now on!!! So much to see and so much to do.

I'm sure the dog in the oven will be just fine - it's probably his home in there. He'll be able to get out anytime the humans decide to cook something - but it won't be him!! Honest.

The two of you are just too adorable!! I wouldn't worry about the dog in the oven either! I'm sure he is just as happy as the two of you are!!hehehe! Good luck outside in the big world!! I hope you two have loads of fun!

That's funny you two because when I look in the oven I see a gnome trapped in there! I wonder what is going on? Let me know if you make any discoveries :D
