Up Where We Belong
Every morning at about 6 o'clock we're taken for a walk. Until recently the weather was so hot that it was the most comfortable time of day to be out but lately things have started to change. There was some nasty wet stuff dropping from the sky - we hadn't seen much of that before (well, we are only five months old and there has been a drought!)
One of our favourite places is Haresfield Beacon. We don't go there everyday as it's a fifteen minute drive from home, so it has to be when there is plenty of time and no one is in a rush to get to work. The beacon , which is in the Cotswolds, is a great place to be;- you can see for miles from there. To the west are the Black Mountains of Wales, while the Malvern hills lie to the north.
Although - thanks to dad's photographic skills - you can't really see any of those from this photo, you'll probably be able to spot the River Severn snaking into the distance.
We don't worry too much about the views. It's a good place for a gallop...
... and posing for photographs...
Talk about handsome!
We're not conceited, but - heaven knows - we ought to be!

Archie & Max you should take a few moments sometime to look around at all of the beauty in the world. And no I don't mean look in a mirror!
Hi Archie and Max,
Hey Archie and Max I'm glad you guys are enjoying yourselves so much. Man it looks like the two of you have grown twice the size you were in your last pics!!! Stay safe and have loads of fun with your parents!!!
Hey Archie and Max my little beagle Fred would love to run and play with you. But then he probably wouldn't want to come home with me
Did you find anything interesting to chase on your walk? You certainly look as though you're having the time of your lives. Oh the joys of being a youngster.
