To See or Not See

Category: Just Stuff | Posted: Sun Mar 04, 2007 3:00 am

I received a phone call about 10 days ago that started "I am sorry you missed your appointment...". It was the office of my eye doctor and I didn't even know I had an appointment. I made one for a couple days later as it was to check the status of my glaucoma which I don't have yet. The tech checked my present glasses and the usual things she does and then the Doc came in and did his thing. When he was done he handed me two pieces of paper. The blue one I was to give to the lady at the desk on the right and make an appt. for a field vision test. The small white one I was to give to the lady at the desk on the left if I wanted to see. The other Doctors told me I would not need glasses except to read. Well they were wrong and he brought out a labeled picture and explained it to me. So, I gave the lady my script and old glasses and I paid her some money and next week I should be able to see.
The arthritis is much worse in my knees, esp. the left so I have to see an orthopod Tuesday at 9 and Tuesday at 1015 I have to see my diabetic doctor. Then I hope no more appointments.
I am really glad winter is coming to an end and I can get out and move about again. I am also glad I will be going to visit in Arizona where it is warmer, and is only about 5 weeks away. By the time I return we should be able to start planting things. Now I'm off for a cup of coffee and an early night. Wannabe

Wannabe at least you know you will be able to see real well in Arizona.See all your loved ones through new glasses.I know your very excited as the time draws closer.I am going to Montana
around the 23rd of April to be with Heather after her
c- section .If things work out little Logan will make his way into the old world the 30 of April.I kind of know how your excitement is building and in a warmer climate gosh that will be great and get to see Dooley DR and their family.I would love to those 2 people for sure.

Well, I haven't heard from the specialist or my doctor and it's been two weeks so I guess I'll call on Monday and see what's going on. It was such an emergency. I had to go right away and I'm still waiting. I'm glad you are getting new glasses. I guess I'll have to go in June. Dooley
