First baby stepsSo, I'm starting to plan what I'll plant, how and where in my garden. I'm not a complete newb; this will be my second year. But still, it's my first year of doing it 'properly' and not just fumbling through it hoping to get it right. Basically, I have three beds, each 5'x15' and a patch of lawn with a little strawberry bed against the house, a patch of patio with a little greenhouse, another patch which will hopefully get some potted herbs, a north facing wall I'm hoping to get a morello cherry tree and some tart jam-making currents for, and a space out front where I'm thinking of putting something climbing and edible, plus maybe a water barrel or two with maincrop potatoes (thanks to potato blight last year).
