The challenge begins!

Category: Planning for the Garden | Posted: Sat Jan 09, 2010 10:59 am

Well, I've got my hands on a book which has some wonderful advice about circulating what you grow, where to grow stuff, and generally how it all matches up, including a couple of plans for what you can grow, where and how (a "gourmet" one and a "Feed the family" one). I'm gonna see how I do following the feed the family plan, but of course, the first step is to work out what I already have (a HUGE box of seeds), what the plan requires, what I want to change, what I need to buy, and when I need to start.

Add to that the fact that I now have a nice new mountain of personal problems, and my never-ending list of business tasks to get on with isn't getting any closer to ending, and I'm in for a fun few days!

I think you can use all the gardening related tasks to take your mind off the other things. It'll relax you.

I agree with Frank. Lots of seemingly unsolvable problems are solved while the hands are busy planting and weeding. Good luck. *hugs*
