Bewicks Wren

Fridays Bird, the House Finch

Today, a Spotted Towhee
Category: My Garden Birds | Posted: Thu Apr 09, 2009 4:42 pm Hi Jewell. The answer to the Varied Thrush is yes, we saw it as it made its call as you mentioned. The Spotted Towhee is rather shy but tends to stay longer after a few visits. At first it would just take a seed and leave, it was rather hard to get a decent picture. Now however it hangs about a lot more.
