The most persistent and obnoxious weed in my yard. Strangles shrubs, flower beds if given half a chance.

Great green bean for feeding the hummingbirds and yourself. A harder bean that when picked young is grate steamed with a little garlic and Parmesan cheese. Leaving the bean to mature is a good dried bean for soups. This bean is a regular in my garden and I save the seed from year to year.

There are several varieties of this heirloom bean. Painted Lady, Sunset Runner, Princess Di as well as Scarlet Runner are a few.

Great reliable bloomer in the garden. Great edging plant, very self-sufficient. Easy to divide. Lovely little thing. We have had ours in the garden for 16 years. They were here when we moved in.

It seems to resemble the rose of sharon somewhat. It is very pretty.

Hate at first touch best describes my initial encounter with this scourge of any garden. If you see one, it is one too many. You will be doing everyone and yourself a favor by DESTROYING this plant if you can get it to let go of you. Have I said enough hateful things about this plant?

Very neat looking. I love the purple blue color. I have plant that is very similar to this one. It's a type of Campanella.

Write your opinion of this plant here...I really like the unusual coloring. The leaves look like they are huge.

Small, rather pale flower. Foliage grows old as it blooms and the stalks seem to harden and die at the same time. Spreads easily, but is not very appealing. Frankly, I'm trying to get rid of it in favor something a bit more showy or attractive to birds.
