I love to see these delicate flowers in the fall, when a lot of flowers in the garden are finished.

I love Lady's Mantle grown in large groups. The foliage is so pretty when water rolls off the leaves! It is lovely in a woodland setting and the flower color is a nice contrast.

This is definitely a fool proof plant for beginners. I often plant it into client's gardens who do not really like to work in the garden, but want pretty color. Loves growing with Rudbeckia.

I agree, the plants standing over winter are interesting. Cool looking seed pods.

I love the way this plant naturalizes here in zone 5. It makes a beautiful statement when planted in mass!

I like this so much more than "Maynight" it has prettier foliage!

Love the soft fuzzy leaves, and the silver colored foliage. Can rot if too wet, needs a good clean up in the spring.

Great groundcover and container accent plant. Does tend to spread if left to its own devices.

This is a very popular must-have for my containers! Unfortunaely, it is not hardy here in zone 5. Wish it was! Such pretty colored foliage and soft pink plumes.

This plant is hardy where I have it in zone 5. Mine is called "Elijah Blue" Fescue and stays nice through the winter months.
