Well we made it back .Easter went good. Dad looked worse than the last time, the nursing home lost his teeth! Its been over a week too!..We picked him up and took him to moms for easter and i baked a ham and made the broccoli casserole and mashed potatoes etc. I cut dads ham up for him,he had a great appetite, but i felt bad he couldnt eat regular.
Seen only 1 of 6 grandkids,(thats along story) that made me sad!
Seen 3 of my 4 kids as well(sad).
My mom and sis got into it,(the fun of family togetherness)lol...sad!

(GOOD NEWS)

I got some bargains(antiques).I'll show pics another time.
The sun was out the whole weekend.
I cooked a good meal for easter.
I stayed sober all weekend!..lol..

All and all not a bad time, except i wished Me and Ron lived there, and we could be there for my family more.....go figure,,,

I know how you feel Kat.I wish I could be near Heather and family and near Kevun and his family too.I would be so lost in Montana.I would be out of my safe spot
but would be near her and my baby's but in turn I would miss my little family next door.My baby girl Cheyenne, Shanna and my Kevin.I need to split in half. :)
Family is dear to me

Sounds like it went pretty well. Fanilies can be a bittersweet experience sometimes.

Welcome back, glad you had a nice trip, Kat.
I understand how hard it is to be away from your folks,
I'm sure your visits mean the world to them.

Can't wait to see your new treasures.

:-)
