Category: Spring | Posted: Sun Apr 30, 2006 1:40 am

...ask him if I can use his ark!

Its started pouring about 11 am and stopped at 7:45 pm. It came down hard and non-stop. I just got my first look at my yard.....it isnt pretty! And my heart is breaking cuz more likely than not, Ill lose all my roses and my wisteria(who doesnt like so much water)

Just out my front door

Shot from front steps down side yard

Side yard (yes thats my waterhose underwater)

Backyard (that ac unit is sitting on cinder blocks)Note my poor sago palm...I will most likely lose it too.

Passion Vine

Persian Buttercups

Petunias

the whole flower bed

Rose garden from inside

water depth in rose garden

My Blue Girl

Scrapie and mini potted banana tree..note the bottom of the pot.

Miss Kiwi wasnt too happy with all the water! She doesnt like getting her feet wet.

Missy was ,of course, playing in it.

Beautiful sky but ugly results

It looks like a lake. Water lilies may survive. I hope it goes down quickly and dries out. It seems like feast or famine with the rain lately. Dooley

Oh no Denee!!! I hope you don't lose too much but judging by the amount of the water there I think it would be a miracle if didn't lose something :(

Such a terrible shame.

Awwwww Denee you're beautiful garden!!!! Let's hope the sun comes out quickly and dries all that lot up. Could you take some cuttings from your roses and other plants just in case the main plants don't survive? Such a shame when everything was coming along so nicely too. Keeping my fingers tightly crossed for you and your garden.

Such a shame! Keeping my fingers crossed that the ground is not hard packed and the sun comes out. Hopefully it will dry up quickly enough to not hurt the root systems.
