A Steller's Jay and peanut.

Category: My Garden Birds | Posted: Fri Sep 26, 2014 4:59 pm

The jays come for peanuts, in the shell. They usually take them away and hide them. I caught this one opening one up for breakfast.

The Slide shows I do.

Category: My Garden Birds | Posted: Sat Jun 28, 2014 4:54 am

I will be putting another slide show in my blog, Sat. or Sunday. I won't be posting it in the forum as there doesn't appear to be much interest in them. I'm adding the last one that I did just to go with this message. A Day in the Life of Birds You probably have seen it in the forum. Hope you catch the next one.

Robin calls for the berries.

Category: My Garden Birds | Posted: Tue Sep 24, 2013 7:25 pm

There are a few robins in the garden, seeing off the berries on a mountin ash. I do save a lot of the berries for later in the winter when there is not much around for them. This is the female of course.
