All the beautiful Victorians....."just one would do.." lolI would just take 1 "little House" I am so fascinated with all of the ornate details. You just can't find that in modern buildings. I would love to have a new house.... but the old houses truly have much more to offer. Which would you do? Have a new house built or buy an older house redone. Here's a few more photos..... enjoy, This one would do, or, or maybe this one.....lol Kratz7 This blog entry has been viewed 709 times

I could move into either one but the one with the red/white/blue banners made me smile. I like the old much better than the new too.
Well I already live in an old cottage (17th century - built in 1685) which has been modernised but still retains lots of character. I wouldn't mind trying out either the first house you've shown us or the last one though!!!
I would go for the same one
I've redone an oldish house, I've watched people I know redo a really old one, and I've watched people build new homes. Both ways seemed to bring a lot of frustration. If I had to choose, I'd prefer to redo an old one. They have character.
Give me an old house anyday, compared to a new one with all the ammenities. New ones just do not have any character.
If I had to choose I think I like the last picture, But in any of them I could see opening the upper window and crawling out to sit on the roof. (there's the kid in me, I used to do that). :) Login or register to leave a comment. |
