I didn't kill my tulips!

Category: all my tulips | Posted: Fri May 12, 2006 12:02 am

Hello Everyone!
I am new here so I will just kind of explain about my tulips. I got them as a birthday present and I planted them and prayed that they would bloom in the spring. Well, I pretty much kill anything I try to grow, so I was really suprised to see my tulips survived! My cousin is a member here, her screenname is jubabe296 and she told me about this website. So I thought I would post a few pictures of my yard, some lilacs and my son with my tulips. I will hopefully be posting some pictures of some roses I "inherited" with the house my husband and I bought in 2002. So far they are still blooming every spring and I can't wait to see what they do this year!
Take care!

Hiya Heather, a BIG welcome to GardenStew and what a first impression you have made on us, tons of tulip photos! They look great and well cared for. I think you underestimated yourself.

Looking forward to future blog entries and I will check back on your blog regularly :)

By the way any friend of Julie's is a friend of mine! Take care!

Thank you so much for the kind words. I love my cousin Julie to death!! I sure do miss her and my mom a lot! Those two are the gardening pros! My mom will be on here as soon as I can mail her her computer.I can't wait to put more pictures on as my "babies" start blooming more. Dooley, thank you for the comment on my son. He is such a blessing to us! Julie is actually the ONLY person that has babysat him, other than his grandparents. :)

Heathermt,
The only comment I can think of is keep the water hose in your hands.
Next i'm not a rose grower my blue girl died and I planted another one the next year and it died. Read the book I gave you.
Love you
Mom

Heather , don't dig the bulbs up first check them and see if they are all mushy some may have survived.
Why is your neighbors dog loose? Please post your picture of the tree in your back yard .So everyone can enjoy the blooms .I think its a crabapple but maybe someone can tell you for sure what it is.
