Category: My Garden Birds | Posted: Sun Jan 24, 2010 6:29 am

One of the garden visitors this time. A Bewicks Wren, builds 3 or 4 nests then lets the female decide which one to use.

I really don't know how you get such good shots of your wrens Kildale. Every time I try with ours they flit off - they're soooo fast!!

Your photos are so much better than the identification books. It is nice to get to see what these little guys really look like. I agree with eileen..they are fast and seem a blur as they travel through my yard.

Sweet photo...I love it when I can get a close up. When I focus the photo the birds are facing me but by the time I snap the photo they have turned around or are about to take off.

What a sweet looking little bird. And so considerate of the female to give her choices. Is this the male or the female, Kildale?

I think that this is the male but is hard to tell. Thank you all for looking at the birds and your comments.
