I've chosen paint color swatches that pick up various of the colors in my duvet, and taken photos of the swatches against the duvet so you can see the matches.

Disclaimer: None of these colors are exact. The camera seems to lighten everything up somewhat. I guess it balances out more or less though, because it also washes out the duvet a bit too. Regardless, you can still get an idea of what I'm considering.

I'm at the last stage of a kitchen remodel and are looking for help with my tile backsplash.

I installed dark brown cabinets and a granite that's predominately cream and brown. I temporarily painted the wall an olive green while I decided what tile I wanted, and I really fell in love with the paint color in contrast to the wood and granite...so much so that I chose an olive green 1"x2" porcelain tile laid out in a brick pattern.

I'm seeking some input.

Never in the past have I had so much trouble selecting a color scheme. Probably because I despise this room/house so much that it just seems daunting...

Things being what they are, I'm moving from my 3500sq-ft home built in 2006 down to a 1300sq-ft rental built in 1977. I have a tentative thumbs-up to repaint and replace lighting. I'll sneak window treatment in there, but I can't push too much further.
