My son and I are making up a page of fall shots, don't have to be the trees colours, can be berries, birds anything that you see in the fall. Have a look at this page for info or a browse.Autumn Celerbration.

Coopers Hawk.

Category: My Garden Birds | Posted: Thu Aug 20, 2009 5:03 pm

It amazes me how hawks get to used to garden structures like these. The male or female stay a while on this one while they wait for anything to move. Now the pileated comes here too.

Not really a pretty thing but it is a neat fly. They are not all the same, there are some different colored ones.

Staying with insects.

Category: My Garden Birds | Posted: Sun Aug 09, 2009 5:37 pm

Here is a Resin Bee. Good for the flowers and much smaller than the honey bees etc.Neat pattern and the black and white is a nice change from all the black and yellow ones that we have.

An interesting insect.

Category: My Garden Birds | Posted: Fri Aug 07, 2009 4:26 am

I have changed the title of this blog to suit other nature subjects. I'm into insects etc as I get a few calls for images. This is an interesting insect as it hunts spiders. It's a spider wasp.
