Thank you all for the messages. Todays image is that of the rufous hummingbird who visits each day. They then perch close by chasing off others.

The biggest visitor to the garden.

Category: My Garden Birds | Posted: Fri Apr 03, 2009 5:15 am

This is the female pileated woodpecker, actually it's not the biggest visitor to the garden as we did have a heron a couple of times last year. But this is the biggest that comes onto the deck.

Birds that visit the Garden

Category: My Garden Birds | Posted: Wed Apr 01, 2009 6:36 pm

I have been looking after the birds in the garden for a few years now and many are quite used to seeing me about. A couple come to me when I go onto the sun deck where I have the feeders and a lot of water dishes.
