The Hairy woodpecker visits

Three pileated Woodpeckers.

Three pileated Woodpeckers come each day now, a female and two juveniles. I mangaed to get a shot of the three, not a great picture, but at least it shows the three birds.

Crossbills return

This is the first pictures of the Red headed Crossbill this year. A male and female visited a few times yesterday and the female was back this morning. This is the male and you can see its crossed bill.

Stretching hummer

Miserable weather.

Its the wettest spring we have ever had although it is not too cold. Haven't taken much in the way of photos but have kept busy with the Nature Inn, newsletters, new ideas and Earth Day of course. Haven't had many images sent in yet, still a few days before the end of the month, but I like to keep on top of things.
