We had another apartment fire last in another building but it is nerve wracking. he rain storm and wind last night was the worse I've seen here. And they say it might be again tonight. I started 5 hours ago and my computer is screwed up May have to return it for repairs (I hope not) Eyes are getting better and we finally got rain, about 6" in 3 minutes. But I have some photos from here including Suzzie Snake plant. Will try to get back tomorrow if not have a happy Labor day. Sleep warm/cool ed

Eyes better
Category: Ed's Balcony Garden | Posted: Thu Aug 28, 2014 12:19 am Well friends the doctor says eyes are doing great and in fact I just went for a walk without the glasses. Have to return in 1 month and may not need Bi-focals after that. Fire marshal was at old apt today and went to get some photos. Friends sleep warm ed

Category: Ed's Balcony Garden | Posted: Wed Aug 27, 2014 12:44 am Well friends have to go for eye checkup tomorrow BUT so far other than being on here I can see TV and other things without my glasses. The right eye needs sunglasses but so far all is going good. Stopped past old apt and although there is no roof they are working on my home. Time to rest eye and will be back tomorrow. Weather is great here and since they will be here I have to get to bed early. I found this flower out front and I didn't plant it. Have a look and tell me what it is. Sleep cool. ed

Category: Ed's Balcony Garden | Posted: Thu Aug 14, 2014 1:46 pm Friends I had no luck with Aloe Vera leaf and my poor Snake plant that was in the fire back in March is in plant heaven. This morning is beautiful with it only being 69 degrees out And other than my eye itching my left eye is coming along good. And to keep wild cats away from the birds im gone to try some water balloons. Will try to get back here later but for now I need to rest my eye. ed

Category: Ed's Balcony Garden | Posted: Mon Aug 11, 2014 7:07 pm Well friends Im back and not feeling to bad. My eyesight is still fuzzy but they told me expect that. I was only in operating room 20 minutes and ready to come home. Tomorrow is glasses DR for checkup. All the people at the place were GREAT. Will send more info in days to come.
