Rainy night

Hi friends from a wet NJ and that is not the worst.
The rain came this afternoon and that was ok as my medical visit was cancelled till Monday.
My stomach is still causing me pain but the beer doesn't help.
Got the Aleve direct therapy and so far it is working.
good with my back.

Today I have been without a smoke for 152 days and I feel much better that way.

Going to bed so sleep warm

A Beautiful Day

I would have been over but Frank's program ate the post I was typing.
The birds are enjoying the outside,and I just hooked up the birdbath heater as Winther is not to far off.
The funeral was for a great I've known for years and in fact she was my boss at Kmart.
Its getting lonesome out here for me as everyone is leaving me and Jodi was only 51 I'm 69.
Not looking for the holidays but always my Fall tree is beautiful and something new for Christmas.

Another day

Well friends the keets are asleep and I'm watching Christmas on QVC.
weather is crazy here, with it being 48 here and feeling like 32 with a a Noreasterner this weekend.
Maybe in hospital again as my stomach is giving me trouble.
Now back to the World Series,sleep warm.

What A wild week

This has been a wild Summer since June 10 when I went into the hospital.
But the keets are doing well which means that they talk ALL DAY!
When you don't feel well they are the last thing you need.
Will try to come back tomorrow if I feel better.

Happy Labor Day

Well friends its Labor Day and even when I was in a union I never went to the parade in Phila.
I had to work with them but my off time was to my family.
And its almost 10 PM and NONE of my children have called me.
I've been inside all day because of the heat which is right now 89 degrees.
So for me is sleep cool.

Another HOT day

Well friends its been another awful day as it still feels like 95 at 10 PM.
I'm glad Im in nj although its no better here but there has been over 100 people killed by guns in Phila.
That's why I don't go out after dark.
The keets loved it outside today and that gives me another job to do in keeping an eye on temp to bring them in when it gets to hot.
Then its my problem as the 2 of them start screaming,so I may have to put them in the bedroom with a cover.

Humid

Friends just a few words from a VERY humid NJ.
I when out this morning and I'm glad I did.
My weather station showed me a heat index of 105 this afternoon and down to 88.
I was just out and the temp causes me to have breathing problems,but now inside I'm doing fine.
And for the keets I did bring them in when it got hot BUT they love it outside (I never understand)
